What parents have told us.
“The tutors from student2student are exceptional. I was looking for support of my children's learning at home and have ended up with not only accelerating their learning across literacy and numeracy but also a mentor and role model. Xavier is prepared, highly engaged and thorough.”
“Jack has played an important role in helping my child unpack complex mathematical questions. He takes the time to explain and ensure the necessary foundations are well understood and then builds from there. Thanks to Jack, my child feels much more confident tackling maths.”
The tutor your child looks forward to seeing.
Our tutors sat the same exams not long ago, so they teach the way students actually learn.
10+ years of combined tutoring experience across our team.
Questions parents ask us
Can't see yours? Get in touch and a real person will reply.
How does matching with a tutor work?
A real person reads your request and picks a tutor who has aced the subject, is free when you are, and is likely to click with your child. We agree a time with you, then confirm the tutor, time and address by email. Nothing is booked until we have.
Where do sessions take place?
At your home, at the National Library of Australia, or in our own private tutoring space.
My child is struggling and has lost confidence. Can you help?
That is who we are here for. Our tutors sat the same exams not long ago and remember getting stuck, so they start where your child is, never where the syllabus says they should be. Struggling is part of learning, and we want every student to feel safe saying "I don't get this yet".
What if my child and their tutor do not click?
Tell us. There are no lock-in contracts, so you can change course or stop whenever you need to, and a real person will work with you to find a better fit.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. There are no lock-in contracts, so you can pause or stop whenever you need to.
What is the difference between 1-1 and group classes?
One-on-one sessions are built entirely around your child at a time that suits you. Group classes are small, scheduled classes you can book a place in from the booking page.
How will I know how my child is going?
After each session you get an email covering what was worked on and how it went, so you are never guessing.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is hourly and listed on our pricing page. If you would like to talk it through first, book a free intro call.
